As Winter sets in, some of us like to kick the heat up a notch--while others delight in the bracing bite of the cold.
What's your pleasure--sizzle, or shivers?
What's your mood--chill, or sultry?
Either way, SHE is always happy to oblige!

Hello all!
We have some brand new volunteer position opening up at the SHE party.
We are in need of librarians and DMs.
If you are trained as a DM, please contact me for more info.
If you are interested in volunteering as a librarian, you can be trained on Tuesdays during the social, by the head librarian. No other training is necessary! Please send an e-mail to she @ sexpositiveculture . org and we will put you in contact with the gentleman in charge of librarian training so you can arrange a session with him.
Thank you all for all that you do.
On January 15, at 7:30 pm, we will be hosting our very first New Member Orientation!
If you have been wanting to attend our event, but are not yet a member, or if you've been attending as a guest and have decided to join, now is your chance!
Official info about orientation: The Intro to Sex Positive Culture is a mandatory orientation that all potential members must attend before joining. It is designed to introduce the broad range of experiences available at Seattle's Center for Sex Positive Culture. The orientation provides attendees with a history of sex positive culture in Seattle and reviews some of the expectations and etiquette expected at our events. Orientations also include a question-and-answer period.
The staff usually begins new membership paperwork during orientation. After orientation ends, attendees pay for the membership of their choice and become new members. The costs and benefits of our various levels of membership are outlined under Join, and it's $55 for a basic membership, $35 for annual renewals thereafter. If you are undecided about joining, ask the staff to wait until the end of orientation to fill out the paperwork. There is no obligation to join.
In case you haven't heard, we've had some exciting announcements about the SHE party, starting in January:
.... drum roll ....
Beginning in January, we will have access to the RAW space, as well as the Annex!
The Annex will continue to be Women Only, while the RAW space will be shared with the guests of Fete Nuit. If you don't mind sharing the space with Fete Nuit (keeping in mind that there may be men present), you are welcome to play in this space.
The very slight downside - also beginning in January, the cost of attendance will be $20, with no discounts for early arrivals. The social (8-9 pm) will still be free.
A special volunteer note: Starting in January, we will be needing some volunteers trained to be DM's. Please contact Lissa if you are interested in volunteering for SHE.
